Lime Treatment
Applying the wrong type of lime to your lawn is far worse
Perfect Leaf Management certified technicians are experts at proper lawn care and know which lawn products will produce a healthy lawn with beautiful curb appeal. PLM uses lime primarily as a soil amendment or conditioner. It performs several important functions:
Corrects soil acidity
Furnishes important plant nutrients—calcium and magnesium.

Reduces the solubility and toxicity of certain elements in the soil such as aluminum, manganese, and iron. This toxicity could reduce plant growth.
Lime promotes availability of major plant nutrients. Calcium acts as a regulator and aids in increasing plants access to soil nutrients. Other elements lime regulates are zinc, copper, and especially phosphorus.
Bacterial activity is increased with lime use. Soil structure is improved by the addition of decayed organic matter or compost. The soil becomes more porous, increasing air circulation and the ability of the soil to absorb and hold moisture.
erfect Leaf Management will apply lime in fall,

winter, or early spring. We apply in this order to take advantage of seasonal benefits. We encourage you to preorder before the end of September if you are not already on a scheduled program.
Most lawn grasses perform best between PH 6.5 and PH 7.0.
